Visiting Warship

As part of the highly anticipated sixth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (DIMDEX), Hamad Port, the Middle East’s largest port, is set to welcome the Visiting Warships at its state-of-the-art facilities.

DIMDEX 2018 is delighted to welcome the international vessels and navies, giving exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to explore modern naval warships and meet with the leaders and crew that deal with the complexities of protecting global maritime interests. 

Trade professionals and visitors who wish to visit the Warships should register at the Visiting Warships Registration Desk located at Hall 4 of QNCC before boarding any shuttle bus to Hamad Port.

09:30 – 17:00 hrs

Wednesday, 14 March 2018

09:30 – 16:00 hrs

Guidelines for Warship Visit by Defence Trade Professionals:

• When you have registered for the visit, please remain in the waiting area until you are advised to board the Shuttle Bus.

• You are required to wear your DIMDEX 2018 badge throughout the duration of the visit.

• You may be required to produce personal photo identification documents to gain access into Hamad Port. Please be prepared.

• Your visit onboard aech ship is a privilege. The permission to allow a visit is at the discretion of the Ship’s Commanding Officer.

• Photography within Hamad Port premises is permitted. However photography onboard the ships are strictly at the discretion of the Ship’s Commanding Officer. Please seek permission form the Ship’s staff before you take any pictures onboard.

• All visitors, without exception, are to leave Hamad Port by the end of the stated visiting hours.

• Members of the Media who wish to visit the ships are to register with the DIMDEX Press Liaison Officer.
