ABOUT THE ACADEMY An Amiri Decree was issued in 2019 to establish and regulate a naval academy, in alignment with the State of Qatar’s comprehensive development and with Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes investment in Qatari citizens and the enhancement of their capabilities. Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Naval Academy was founded to realize Qatar’s aspiration to establish a national naval academy. The Academy strives to adopt the highest and most advanced standards used in maritime training institutions and universities around the world.
