The Qatari Amiri Naval Forces has conducted ‘PASSEX’ joint exercise with Italian Navy, with the participation of the Italian frigate (Carlo Margottini).

The naval exercise comprised several exercises including the ‘Maneuvering EX’, AdEx and Surface Ex in addition to fire fighting and damage control exercises.

The exercise aimed to train naval forces on combating maritime terrorism, as well as to increase combat efficiency and readiness, as well as to exchange experiences between the Qatari and Italian navies.
