Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces recently made an official visit to the Republic of Turkey and also attended the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) in Istanbul. Lieutenant General Al Ghanim inspected the latest Turkish military developments while at IDEF.

Lieutenant General Al Ghanim was accompanied by several senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces and also met with Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defence of Turkey and General Yaşar Güler, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.

Over the course of his interactions Lieutenant General Al Ghanim, discussed topics of common interest between both nations and ways to enhance and develop them further.
