HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem met the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force Lieutenant General Vecciarelli, in Rome on Friday.

During the meeting, they reviewed various topics and discussed the relations and military co-operation between the armed forces of Qatar and Italy and means of enhancing them. HE the Chief of Staff met also Italian Minister of Defence Elisabetta Trenta.

The meeting was attended by the Italian Chief of Staff, ambassador of Qatar to Italy Abdulaziz Ahmed al-Malki, Military Attache in Italy Brigadier General Hilal Ali al-Mohannadi, Head of International Military Affairs Brigadier Yousef Saleh al-Hurr, and a number of senior officers in the Qatar Armed Forces.
