HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met yesterday with the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command in the Middle East Vice Admiral Samuel Paparo. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral co-operation in the military field, and ways to enhance them. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers in the Armed Forces. At a separate event, Qatar and the United States signed a military agreement within the executive arrangement framework between the ministries of defence of both countries. The agreement pertains to marine activities and port calls to Qatar.
