DIMDEX ANNOUNCES THE COMMERCIAL BANK AS MAIN SPONSOR FOR ITS SEVENTH EDITION

DIMDEX grows international reputation as key sponsorship partners lend support to the prestigious maritime defence and security event

Doha, Qatar – 25 November 2019: Strengthening the national development directive through strategic partnerships, the organising committee of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX ) has announced the Commercial Bank as the Main Sponsor for its seventh edition (DIMDEX 2020), held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, and proudly hosted and organised by Qatar Armed Forces between 16-18 March 2020 at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).

In an official ceremony at the Ministry of Defence and in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces, and His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Board Member at Commercial Bank, the agreement was signed by Mr. Khalifa Al-Rayes, EGM Government, Public Sector and Deputy Head of Wholesale Banking at Commercial Bank and DIMDEX Chairman, Staff Brigadier (Sea) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari. 

His Excellency Lieutenant General (Pilot) Al Ghanim said: “Forging strategic support locally is vital to reflect the unison towards Qatar National Vision 2030 and its comprehensive commitment to the implementation of long-term goals that will promote human and economic development towards a highly-advanced society. Together, we can ensure the national trajectory towards sustainable progress and prosperity, while establishing Qatar’s key role in the global partnership for development.”

Staff Brigadier (SEA) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari, Chairman of DIMDEX, said: “We are proud to welcome the Commercial Bank as the Main Sponsor for DIMDEX 2020. The support we get from national organisations allows us to deliver an event that will leave a positive impression among exhibitors and visitors, and we express our deep appreciation to the Commercial Bank for their kind contribution.
