Qatari Amiri Air Force concluded its participation in the 15-day Anatolian Eagle 2019 exercise held in Konya in Turkey.
The closing ceremony was attended by HE the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Yasar Guler, as well as a number of senior officers of forces participating in the exercise.
The countries participating in the Anatolian Eagle were Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, USA, Italy and Nato.
Commander of the Qatari brigade participating in the exercise, Major Ahmed Saad al-Mohannadi, said the exercise included the participation of C17 and C130 aircraft.
The exercise also included several joint exercises between air controllers, fighter aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft and tactical air transport, as well as training in counter-attack, air defense, airdrops, maneuvering and air defence.
