Qatar Armed Forces, represented by the medical services command, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korean AhnKang Beverly Hospital. The MoU was signed by acting medical services commander Brigadier General (Sea) Nasser Mohamed al-Kaabi and hospital manager Dr Ahn Kang. The MoU aims at exchange of expertise and knowledge between both sides.
The hospital will provide advanced health and treatment services for members of the armed forces, their families and beneficiaries residing in Qatar. This agreement is a result of the co-operation memorandum signed in Doha in 2017 between Qatar Armed Forces and Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare.
AhnKang Beverly Hospital specialises in treating bone and joint diseases using the FIMS treatment technique. The signing was attended by ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Qatar Kim Chang-mo.
