The Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, H E Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem, took part in the meeting of Central Command, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, Jordan and Egypt, in the city of Tampa, Florida, at the invitation of Commander of US Central Command, General Joseph Votel. The meeting discussed the counter-terrorism efforts. H E the Chief of Staff also held a meeting with the General Votel, to discuss the close military ties between the two countries and means to further boost and promote them. On the other hand, H E Lieutenant General Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem visited Boeing Company, the manufacturer of F-15 aircraft for the Qatari Amiri Air Force in St. Louis, USA where he met with President of Boeing Military Aircraft, Shelly Lavender.
