The Strategic Studies Centre of the Qatari Armed Forces, in partnership with TASAM Centre in Turkey, organised the 3rd Turkish-Gulf Forum for Defence and Security in Turkey.
The forum was held in conjunction with the Istanbul Security Conference, from 6-8 November, with the participation of a number of officers of the armed forces. Director of the Strategic Studies Centre Brigadier General (Pilot) Dr. Rashed Hamad al-Nuaimi said that the forum discussed important topics related to the impact of modern technology on the concepts and foundations of strategic leadership and strategic decision.
He added that the forum also addressed new challenges in the field of defence, especially for regular armies, such as drones, the uses of artificial intelligence in the military field, and other military topics of paramount importance.
