Ankara: The second high-level Qatari-Turkish military dialogue meeting concluded in Ankara yesterday.
The delegation of the State of Qatar to the meeting was chaired by HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem, while the Turkish side was chaired by H E Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Turkey General Yasar Guler.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the military cooperation between the two sides and ways of promoting and enhancing them.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey, H E Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, Qatari Military Attache to Turkey Brigadier General Mohammed bin Rashid Al Shahwani, and a number of officials of the Qatari Armed Forces.
On the sidelines of the meeting, HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met with HE Minister of the National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of issues related to the military cooperation between the two brotherly countries and means of developing them.
