After the Mirage F1, the Alpha Jet and the Mirage 2000, the State of Qatar has acquired 24 Rafale in May 2015 an 12 in December 2017 illustrating the longstanding relationship with Dassault Aviation. Entered service in the Qatar Emiri Air Force in 2019, the Rafale demonstrates formidable “omnirole” capability combined to accurate tactical situation awareness. Powerful, agile, and discrete, the Rafale carries a weapon load which can be used simultaneously for air-combat and surface-attacks as well as recce mission during the same sortie. The Rafale is adaptable to future needs.
