After the Mirage F1, the Alpha Jet and the Mirage 2000, Qatar has acquired 36 Rafale in service in the Qatar Emiri Air Force since 2019, illustrating the longstanding and strong partnership with Dassault Aviation. Extremely powerful, highly agile, and very discrete, the Rafale demonstrates formidable “omnirole” capability and carries an awesome weapon load which can be used simultaneously for air-combat and surface-attacks as well as recce mission during the same sortie. It is adaptable to future needs.
